As part of our pledge to Keep Downend Reading, please use the following links to access a number of pdf copies of texts and Downend teachers reading them aloud. These are suitable for all year groups and can supplement the school work that they have been set by their teachers.

In order to ensure that everyone has access to their own book as well we will be providing a click and collect service from the library. Over the next week students can follow the instructions below to order a book. 

Please make your book reservations by Friday 22nd January. The books will be available for collection by parents from Wednesday 27th January.

  • Apple devices search “Capita Reading Cloud”

  • Android devices search “iMLS Student”

  1. To login enter your username and password as described below:

  • Username is your school email address e.g:  12blogjose@cset.co.uk

  • Password is your date of birth formatted as follows:   DDMMYYYY

  1. To find a good book you can use the search box to search by title, author or genre.  Alternatively you can browse by top ten, recommended or newly added.

  1. From the list of books, click on the book you would like to borrow and click "RESERVE" (or if using the mobile app click the "tick" symbol)

Please note: If you cannot reserve the book it is probably out on loan to someone else so please select an alternative. If you are having trouble logging in please email Mrs Bromley using lois.bromley@cset.co.uk with any queries and she will be happy to help
