Open Evening Thursday 10th september 2026

We are delighted to invite your family to Downend School to find out more about all that our school has to offer for current Year 6 students who are looking to join us in September 2027.

Our Open Evening is a fantastic opportunity for your family to take a guided tour of the school with our students and visit subject areas to meet staff and participate in activities.

Headteacher's presentations will take place at 5:30pm, 6:15pm and 7pm .  If you book the 7pm presentation, please arrive earlier than this so you have time to view the school as there will be no opportunity to do this after the presentation. Please allow enough time to view the school as we are a large site.

Tickets are required for the Headteacher's talk but not for the school tours. Tickets are available to book from Monday 8th June and can be booked using the following link; Headteacher Presentation Tickets.  One ticket admits one person to the talk.  A limited number of tickets will be available on the evening.

If you would like to tour the school only, there is no need to book a presentation slot.  Please just come along from 5:30pm, but leave enough time to view the school as we will bring the evening to a close at 7:30pm.
