Downend School is a thriving, popular school with over 1500 students aged 11-18. This is an exciting time to join a highly innovative school with excellent results and an expanding roll. We are seeking to appoint a well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Physical sciences (specialists in Physics or Chemistry) from September 2010. You will be working alongside a forward thinking and supportive team, teaching across the age and ability range. The Science faculty is successful, well-established and, as part of a Technology College, offers excellent facilities. The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher, for whom a full programme of induction and support would be available.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to motivate and excite students across the age and ability range.
