Vocational 01

The Vocational Faculty aims to provide a quality education and help students acquire a broad base of skills and knowledge in our subjects. We encourage students to become independent learners who show pride and enjoyment in their work.

All our classrooms benefit from having internet access and interactive whiteboards. We have our own computer room and a RealCare (simulated) baby. The faculty uses a range of resources including interactive web sites, subject-specific software and a variety of texts. We also prepare many of our own resources in order to ensure information is up-to-date and can be tailored to the needs of students.

A wide range of activities is seen as contributing to the development of learning. These activities include:

  • Individual tasks
  • Group work
  • Extended projects
  • Presentations
  • Research
  • Visits to organisations
  • Guest speakers
