The PE Faculty at Downend prides itself on providing high quality teaching. We have high expectations and deliver an enriched curriculum offering all pupils a personalised learning experience and an opportunity to try new activities.

We have strong links with local sports clubs, and the local community, which allows us to offer an interesting and engaging extra curricular programme.

We also have a fully inclusive ethos and offer a range of activities and initiatives in the faculty to include all pupils.

PE02

PE Kit

All pupils are expected to wear the school Physical Education kit during their PE lessons.

For indoor and summer activities: white polo shirt, black shorts, indoor white ankle socks.
Trainers are expected to be worn during indoor activites.

For outdoor activities: blue/house colour games shirt, black shorts, black knee length socks. Footbal/rugby boots are required for outdoor activities on the fields.
