Learning Resource Centre

‘ What a school thinks about its library is a measure of what it thinks about education ’

Our Learning Resource Centre is committed to providing a vast collection of multi-media resources in a friendly and supportive environment. Our aim is to facilitate and promote effective research and to foster a lifelong enthusiasm for reading and learning.

The Centre is situated in a bright and modern purpose built accommodation and it is made up of large library and a separate Video Conferencing Centre/ Study Room. The Library can offer the use of twenty-three computers in the ICT area with a printer and photocopier, a separate Sixth Form area, soft seating areas, regular display work to promote reading and eight additional tables with seating for thirty-two students. The stock consists of the various types of reference materials, study guides, periodicals and magazines of popular and academic interest and lots and lots of books!

These Library facilities are managed by a Learning Resource Centre Manager who is available to assist with individual research, group work and recreational reading. Students may borrow books for a period of two weeks.
