Careers education provides a foundation for students to make decisions at key transition points with knowledge of opportunities available to them and an awareness of their skills.
Careers Education at Downend is delivered in years 7 – 11 through a series of lessons and activities. Work related learning plays a key role in the development of students and the school has developed strong relationships with local employers and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) ambassadors.
